Awareness of Augmentative and Alternative Communication among Final Semester Students of SLP

The ability to communicate with words is one of a person's distinguishing characteristics. People who have lost their talk are unable effectively for whatever reason. acquisition (AAC) approach was implemented as viable alternative assisting these individuals. Objective: To find out awareness augmentative and communication among final semester students SLP. Methods: cross-sectional study conducted in seven major institutes Lahore (University Of Lahore, Riphah International University, King Edward Medical School Allied Health Sciences, Fatima Memorial Hospital, Punjab NUR University). Final BS or MS program SLP were included the study. research employed convenient sampling methodology standardized questionnaire used having 26 questions, responses obtained through an online form survey. SPSS17 analyze data collected from 50 respondents. Results: Overall calculated respondents regarding Augmentative Alternative communication. Results indicated that 32(65.71%) speech language pathology adequate knowledge about AAC technology, 10(18.40%) did not significant technology while 8(15.89%) totally unfamiliar technology. Conclusion: After analysis it concluded majority had AAC. Most Lacking seen good academic exposure practice patient
